Rail

The Pilot Field is approximately 1.5 miles from Hastings Connex South East railway station. Direct trains run half hourly in peak times from London Charing Cross, London Victoria, Brighton and Ashford International.

If you are brave you could try Ore station on the Ashford line which is nearer (about 1 mile), but has very limited public transport links, i.e. remember a map and your shoes.

Railtrack Timetable

has all the travel information from the paper versions.

Connex

contains information about possible (probable?) delays.

There are usually taxis hanging around outside Hastings station:

Bus

Timetable

Bus services within Hastings are generally infrequent, and are run by South Coast Buses (21/31). So we recomend that you check before you travel on the County Bus Line (01797) 223 053, especially during bank holidays.

Web page

contains more accurate information.

There are also buses between: Hastings and Ashford (400), and a coastal service linking Hastings, Folkestone and Eastbourne (711).
